The AI research and deployment company said that nonprofit organizations are already using ChatGPT to increase productivity and serve their communities in novel ways, and that their ChatGPT can help these organizations of all sizes overcome some barriers and achieve more with fewer resources.
Whether it’s drafting grant proposals, refining data analysis, or tailoring communication strategies for diverse audiences, ChatGPT can serve as a powerful force multiplier for nonprofit organizations, OpenAI said.
With the new initiative that was launched, nonprofit organizations can now access ChatGPT Team at a discounted rate of $20 per month per user. Larger nonprofits ready for large-scale deployment can contact our sales team to access a 50% discount on ChatGPT Enterprise, the report stated.
How will nonprofit organizations use OpenAI?
The company listed about four stories about how some nonprofit organizations leveraged their tools to work. It said that Serenas, a nonprofit dedicated to ending violence against women and girls in Brazil, used ChatGPT to unlock diverse, international funding sources by drafting effective grant proposals quickly.
The GLIDE Unconditional Legal Clinic uses ChatGPT to support legal aid in walk-in client meetings, and Think South Africa is training public health professionals to use ChatGPT to clean, analyze, and interpret health data, OpenAI said.
OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT Edu
On the same Thursday, OpenAI announced that it was introducing ChatGPT Edu, a version of ChatGPT built for universities to responsibly deploy AI to students, faculty, researchers, and campus operations.
